Four years later...

I finally managed to get all my wedding pictures into a "real" album instead of the 3 ring binder they have been in for four years. It was still just putting them into an album - I haven't done any cool scrap-booking with them yet. Ah, well. At least now I can show them to unsuspecting victims without being embarrassed that its been years and they are still in a three ring binder. However this is the first time since we've been married that I haven't been working full time or doing school full time or doing school and work! Since I am only working part-time and not doing school I feel like I actually have some time to get my projects done. Whoo hoo!

Next on my list is a cute scrapbook I picked up for Valentine's Day called the Story of Us. Its something we both get to fill out, with places to put our first impressions and our likes and dislikes, how we met, first date, ect. I just have to talk to our family about sending us some family and childhood pics cause I don't have hardly any. Lucky for me since I was pretty goofy looking at times!

We both went to volleyball last night. Had a lot of fun, but played another 3 games and have yet to win one. Ah, well! At least the whole team is having fun. I felt so bad for one our teammates- she got hit right in the nose with the ball! She was okay but her nose was kinda swollen at the end of the night. Poor thing!

I was scheduled for work Monday morning but went in and found out that they are jackhammering in the room next door. My supervisor didn't come in that day and I had completed all my projects from the week before so I just checked my email and then came home. So I have had 5 days off and feel quite spoiled! I work Thurs. and Friday, so at least that's not too bad. I am just having a hard time finding things to wear because it is so dirty with the construction going on- I really don't want to wear my nice work clothes, but can't really go in wearing jeans either. So some days I am kinda scruffy, and others I wear a nice shirt with my khakis. Can't wait for it to cool off though because most of my decent work clothes are from working in Ohio and are long sleeved. Here it is still too hot!

Well I think this is enough rambling for one night. I am going to finish doing my laundry and go see how Eric the Grillmaster is getting on... we bought a LOT of meat today from the butcher and he is having fun getting his Webber going. Need to invite some peeps over for a barbecue since we got 3 racks of ribs!

Oh yeah- make sure to look at the new picture I posted below (in the gasbagging post). We love Eric's new camera!

The new picture in gasbagging is beautiful

AND you were NOT goofy looking as a kid...okay, maybe the Girl Scout Uniform school picture was a little funny, but not REALLY.

You'll have to guess which favorite relative this is from!

The girl scout picture? What about the school pic where I had just had teeth pulled and the horrors of a failed perm?? ACK!

Let me guess- the favorite relative who has that very girl scout pic hanging in the room I stayed in the last time I was there?

Hello there from another American in Australia! I found your blog while searching for sites to add to my Yanks Down Under Webring. Hope you don't mind if I put yours in there too?

I just read all of your posts and they're great! From your pics and description I'm guessing you live somewhere in the Northern Territory? I'm up in Darwin, been here for a few years now. Anyway, good to meet you and cheers!

P.S. Feel free to check out my main site if you're interested:
